Cami's Cookbook

Cami Rose is a Cause for Paws Rescue success story. She is a young Shar-pei mix who spent many days in a kill shelter waiting and wishing for a family of her very own. In addition to feeling alone and unloved, she had entroption. That is a condition where the eyelid turns in towards the eye and the eye is always being irritated by the eye lashes.

One day a volunteer from Cause for Paws came to the shelter looking for dogs to take to foster homes where they would live until their forever families were found. Cami Rose was one of the fortunate ones she picked. She took Cami to the vet and he was able to operate on her eyelid and correct the problem. Then the volunteer took her home and gave her wonderful care while looking for the perfect home for her.

One day a couple contacted Cause for Paws after seeing Cami on the website. They made arrangements to meet Cami in person and it was love at first sight. She now is part of a large family where all the others are strays and rescues, too.

Cami and her family want to say ""Thank you"" to Cause for Paws for the second chance they have given her. As a way to do this, she and her new family have come up with a cookbook filled with quick and easy yummy treats for the animal in your heart. The cookbook has 46 pages and costs $10.00, which includes postage. All proceeds go towards Cause for Paws funding to help rescue animals such as Cami from kill shelters.
